This is such a great doll set. I got it for one of my little boys who wanted a playset from Moana, which he saw at the cinema and loved. I have not opened the box as it's for a gift, but looking at it carefully:
The Maui male doll is huge - absolutely enormous. Imagine Barbie height and about 5XBarbie width. The Moana female doll is really good. Not too Barbie-like and has a suitably determined expression.
The accessories and clothes are really nice, especially Moana's and Maui's necklaces: the detailing is really good. I am not sure whether Moana's clothes will stand up to much playing, but replacements in the same style would be easy with string and scraps!
Best of all, I am pretty sure both these dolls can go in the bath.
A total winner and the price I paid (approx $30) was a complete bargain.
I don't think that there is much articulation, so maybe slightly better for younger kids who just like to bounce things around, make up stories and take them in the bath.
